Change the support phone number on Stripe

Stripe sends your customer support phone to the card networks; it prints on statements, receipts and invoices. Setting it takes two clicks.

Time: about a minuteYou need: a Stripe account you own
Step 1

Open your business details

Open dashboard.stripe.com/settings/public and scroll down to the Public details section.

Step 2

Edit your customer support details

In the "Customer-facing information" card, press Edit. Stripe opens a panel called "Add customer support details". Your Kliqor number goes in "Customer support phone number", then save.

Public details → Customer-facing information → Edit
Step 3

Check a receipt

Open any recent payment and view its receipt. The support phone at the bottom should now be your Kliqor number. Statement descriptors update on the next charge.

Good to know

The number also reaches hosted invoices and the customer portal. The statement descriptor, the merchant name itself, has its own section further down the same tab. Stripe is blunt about why any of this matters: it asks for a support phone so customers can reach you about a charge, which is what keeps a confused customer from calling their bank instead.
