Kliqor vs Google Voice

For years, the free Google Voice number was the default answer. Its terms changed: the free tier is personal use only.

SHORT VERSION

Free Google Voice is no longer permitted for business use, and Google can reclaim numbers used that way. Paid Google Voice is a Workspace phone system for teams. Kliqor is a single inbound number that explains your charges.

The personal-use change

Google Voice's free consumer product is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. Listing it as your business support line on Stripe or a Google Business Profile is outside those terms, and business listings using Voice numbers are commonly rejected or later removed.

If you need to make calls

Google Voice for Workspace or Quo are better fits. They are full two-way phone systems. Kliqor deliberately doesn't dial out or text. It exists to be listed and to answer.
