Kliqor vs using your personal number

It's free and it's already in your pocket. It still costs you something.

SHORT VERSION

Your personal number works, but it is printed on every statement, it rings at all hours, and when you don't answer, customers dispute. A dedicated number fixes the exposure and answers the calls you'd miss.

When your personal number is fine

You have a handful of customers you know by name, you don't mind them having your cell, and you're happy to answer. Plenty of consultants run this way for years.

When it isn't

The moment you sell to strangers at volume. A few hundred charges a month means a few calls a week from people who don't recognize a line on their statement, and several more who don't call and dispute instead. That's the $15 fee, the lost sale, and your dispute ratio.

Switching is one field in Stripe, and our Stripe guide shows where it is. Old statements keep the old number; new charges use the new one.
